Our apartment
We offer a baby friendly apartment in a quiet spot of the spa area of Gyula, yet only 850m away from the city centre, and the same distance from the castle. We accept guests all year.
The 100 square m apartment is located on the second floor of a family house. It consists of an American style kitchen – dining room – living room all in one space, one bathroom, one toilet, two bedrooms and one roofed terrace. Our kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a toaster, water kettle, capsule coffee machine and a fridge (There is no actual oven or stove). Our spacious bathroom has a bathtub so you can take a nice bath after a long day of exploring the city. We offer locked parking and there is a grill, a fireplace, comfortable garden furniture and playground for children (all these are free to use). In the garden there is also a swingbed.
150 m from the apartment is a bakery, a small convenience store and a pub. Not much farther are multiple lakes for fishing and everything is in walking distance from us but if you would like to go for a nice bike ride you can rent bicycles from us. If you arrive by bus or train don’t be afraid, the bus stop is in 1500 m and the train station is just 900 m from us.
We offer a small bed, a high chair, chamber pot, a childrens toilet seat and baby bedding free for all our tiny visitors.
You will find a LED TV with a number of Hungarian channels and HBO for movies and series bingeing.
Bedding and towels are free and we don’t charge anything for a final cleaning.
Smoking is forbidden in the apartment, except in the garden or the terrace. Unfortunately you can’t bring your pets.
We provide a Visit Gyula Card for our customers which they can use for over 40 activities and services for a reduced price or free.
We clean the apartment with utmost care. For disinfection purposes we use an ozone generator between each guest.
Air conditioner is available for 1000HUF/day

Gyula and its surroundings
When people hear about Gyula, they always think about the famous thermal spa, the last standing brick castle in Middle-Europe, or the Almásy Castle with its interactive exhibition. But this city is so much more than these. Walking on the cozy little streets history follows us from old times through the Turkish occupation to the 1848 -49 war of independence, or the revolution of 1956.
The city and its surroundings offer a vast number of trips, hikes or relaxation opportunities. If you like an active holiday, or if you love to relax you will definitely find something for you here. Art lovers will be spoiled by the Castle theatre with its year-round events and the art festivals held in the city. A number of museums also await visitors in the city of Ferenc Erkel.
After we took a tour in the castle we can visit the brewery, the pálinka manufacture, sausage museum or the 100 year old confectionery where we can find out everything about how they made ice cream and cakes a hundred years ago and also enjoy a delicious treat.
If we would like to try out the healing waters and excellent wellness we can visit the castle spa where even the children can enjoy themselves in the Aquapalace. If we like a more exciting splash we can visit Szanazug, or Városerdő where we can swim in one of the Körös rivers and we can even ride an airboat known from the American marshes, or enjoy a slower, more romantic river boat ride. The horse ranch near the city also offers a great day for kids and adults as well.
Gyula offers a variety of gastronomical experiences. You definitely have to taste the famous pálinka of the city and the cakes of the 100 year old confectionery with a nice cup of coffee.
Gyula is an amazing little city with sweet ambient where even the locals can feel like tourists. Everyone who visits this city will definitely feel an urge to come back to it. And you probably will need to come back as well for a couple of days is simply not enough to experience everything this beautiful city has to offer.
We humbly recommend visiting this city with your significant other or even with the whole family. You will be guaranteed to have a great time.

Bicycle rental is 1000Ft/hour, or 2500Ft/day.
Reservation cost is 30% of the total. You need to prepay the reservation cost, after that the reservation will be guaranteed.
Resignation fee: until 30 days before arrival we only charge the reservation cost. After this we will charge the whole cost!
You can book for a minimum of 2 days!
Our prices are in hungarian forint and contain the taxes (ÁFA). Tourist tax is not included (For people 18 years or older 450 Ft / Person / day).
*Main season: from June 01 to August 31 and during the festival period and holidays
